Are there any low-cost alcohol rehabs in Wexford, Pennsylvania?
My friend is asking for my help. She has to get her husband treated for his alcohol addiction. The problem is, he just got fired from his job and my friend’s earnings are just not enough to be able to put him inside rehab. Any suggestions?

I think it would be good if your friend would apply for a grant from the government. The links below will get to help her. She can get in touch with various persons from different alcohol rehabs and ask them if their institution will be willing to grant her a discount or have her pay off the bills at a later date.

Start calling your local hospitals rehab department. Some have what they call scholarships for people in need.
Also there is Alcoholics Anonymous which is a free support group with local meetings in your area. Many rehab centers implement the A.A. program into their treatment. You can call their office or look on-line for meetings in your area. There is no waiting or applying. You just show up.http://www.alcoholics-anonymous.org/?Media=PlayFlash
However, it is wise to see a physician to avoid alcohol withdrawal symptoms that can be dangerous to some people and even cause seizures.
