Don’t you think that people who “need” drugs are weak?

Having to resort to chemicals to feel the same way as normal people, while toxins slowly kill your body and mind.

Alcohol, tobacco, pot, heavy drugs, no difference.

The fact that they willingly(please no addiction excuses) keep using them despite the risks shows how weak they are even further.

I don’t think needing things makes people weak.

I could infact say that some people whom need things desperately are infact quite strong, in the sort of psychopathic crazy way.

Only a fool would say such a thing.Your not superior to these people. You have a big ego and think your better than these people.Normaly people like you have skeletons in the closet and bully less fortunate people to feel better about yourself.

The truth hurts i know,it hurt me at first but ive never been more happy since ive been kicking my ego to the curb

Be careful with your assumptions. All the above you’ve mentioned are “addictions are deceases”. Don’t be too quick to judge when you have no clue what you’re talking about.

Who do you think you are?
It’s up to each individual. It would be a wise decision on your part to stop “global labeling”. Putting everyone in the same category is flat out stupid. Everybody is different, and some people need them. Since when did God put you in charge for what is “good” for everybody?

    Get a life.

Some people need medical drugs to survive. That need does not make them “weak”. It is an actual need.

But alcohol, tobacco, pot, heavy drugs, etc … No one actually “needs” them, it is an addiction which is a weakness.

being driven to escape reality is a natural symptom of every culture and age, soma, peyote, mushrooms, for eg.

In our culture the only socially acceptable way is through alcohol, any other drug is seen as weak and wrong.

Some people are depressed or mourning the loss of a loved one.
When they are High, they feel better.
They do need to go and see a doctor, but not everyone has healthcare or treatment options.
    How about you stop judging?

It’s called self-medicating, and humans have probably been using mood altering and pain killing substances since the beginning of their existence, but they didn’t have Big Brother and Big Pharma back in the old times. Nowadays there are probably more people on pharmaceuticals than all other drugs combined (especially in Hollywood).
I am much more concerned about the effects of environmental toxins on humans and wildlife, especially future generations.

I’m not talking about medicinal things like what epileptics need, etc, but…. fifteen years long, the only thing I didn’t do was shoot H. Gave myself a mild stroke and nearly OD’d a few times, got declared dead for four minutes once. So I DO know what I am talking about, especially since I got clean, and no, there WAS NO rehab for me BY CHOICE. Been six years. It’s a decision at the end of the day. Not an easy one, and not everyone can stick to it or make that decision, but I did. I think you’re not 100% right there, but it’s nothing superioristic, people haven’t discovered how powerful EVERY mind is, or they just choose to not know or discover it. We are ALL the same, and we ALL have the ability to do this. Rich, poor, old and young, all the same.
What you say becomes your truth, so if you keep saying no it’s too hard, etc, it really does become too hard….but somewhere along the line YOU MADE A CHOICE, plain and simple. Most of them know that when they do the drug or have been using for a while, they are NOT feeling “normal” when they shoot up or take, they just CHOOSE to not see that. Every single thing in life is choice, there are NO victims.
For the record, I kept up a 95% recovery rate (without relapse) working with a few hundred teen drug addicts in a rehab facility in the very area I used to go get my drugs in…worked there for four years. It’s choice, you make a good one or a bad one. Seems they all agreed, cause only 5% relapsed.
