How to conduct a drug and alcohol and sex addiction intervention for rehabilitation?

the client/addict is 65 years of age and sqaundered $500,000 of his pension and now owes the IRS 170,000. He has services thru HASA which I have now requested Adult Protection Services to conduct an assessment to continue his social services. There has been financial exploitation by his attorney/lover. I would like to have a rehab option in place..He is unwilling to voluntarily be admitted into rehab

FIRST OF ALL , HE SHOULD BE PRESCRIBED “MELLARIL” AND “RISPERDAL” FOR HIS SEXUAL ADDICTION ..PLUS HE SHOULD BE COURT ORDERED TO REHAB OR A STATE HOSPITAL ..THIS MAN IS VERY SICK AND HE CAN NOT MAKE IT WITHOUT SOME ONE FORCING HIM ..
P.S. ONCE HE TAKES THE MELLARIL AND RISPERDAL HE WON’T BE CONSIDERED A SEX ADDICT AND / OR SEX OFFENDER

He can do what he wants. He’s 65 not 105. He has the right to spend his money how he wants to. It is none of your concern. You sound more like a concerned family member worrying about your inheritance. You can’t be an actual cousnelor because you would not be asking for info on yahoo answers. And because I do drug and alcohol counseling and I know what the laws are about you sticking your nose in to his private affairs. Just remember he has rights just like you do.

Unfortunately, if he isn’t willing to go to rehab, there isn’t anything you can do unless the courts and/or ADS legally order him into treatment.
