(My Random fun fact of the day) Did you know morphine was invented to rid people of alcoholism!?
Morphine is 10 times more addictive than alcohol! Doctors would give it out to people they felt drank too much. Doctors thought eating it would create cravings so they made the syringe so people could inject it directly into their bloodstream.
So, Then Heroine was invented to get rid of morphine addiction! lmao

today benzodiazepines serve a similar purpose, they too are more addictive than alcohol, and their withdrawal is worse than that of heronine, morphine, and alcohol.

Then Methadone was invented to rid heroin addicts of their addiction…now I know plenty of people addicted to methadone!
But, if used correctly, methadone can be really effective at weaning opiate/heroin addicts off of their drugs. But it can also be abused, as well.
