Is Alcoholism Addiction Treatment Totally different From Alcoholism Recovery?
The words like alcoholism addiction treatment and alcoholism center, alcohol recovery are being increasingly used throughout the present days. Although the recovery and alcoholism addiction treatments are interconnected, they’re completely different from each other.
Although it cannot be said that people aren’t attentive to them being completely different from each different the fact isn’t given much consideration. The alcoholism addiction treatment is what results in recovery from alcoholism. Simply as a result of someone underwent an addiction treatment procedure, he or she can’t be said to be completely recovered from the addiction.
What songs or poems are there about recovery from drug or alcohol addiction?
Question by Haruka07: What songs or poems are there about recovery from drug or alcohol addiction?
I’m doing an English project and I need a poem or song about a drug addict or alcoholic recovering from their addiction because they have seen that they have a family to live for, they have something worth fighting for. I can’t for the life of me find any poems or songs like this, though I’m sure they’re out there somewhere! So if you guys could help me out, I would be forever grateful!
Thanks ever so much! ^^
Is it illegal for people from rehab to start up their addiction again? Or is that only if the drug is illegal?
I’m talking about alcohol; is drinking after you’ve completed rehab and therapy for it illegal? Or is that only for drugs like crack and marijuana? Or does rehab not even matter at all?
Before even more cunt flaps call me stupid, know this: I don’t do drugs. I don’t know fucking shit about them. Okay? All I know is my mom is drinking again and my friend was wondering if it’s illegal. I saw her at rehab and they were dealing crack there. Crack is illegal just as marijuana is, so I wouldn’t fucking know. Stop yelling at me behind a computer screen because you do drugs and therefore know more about them. Mkay pumpkins?
By the way, if the question’s been answered, what makes you think I’m gonna pick your shit-tastic one?
Also, I wasn’t asking about the fucking marijuana. I just used it as an example for ‘illegal’ drugs. You people just cannot wait to call people stupid on a question site, can you?

my brother needs help from his addictions.?
My brother has had many addictions in his life, cigs, alcohol, pain killers, cocaine.. you name hes had a problem with it. He is now clean and sober, or so we believe. He now doesn’t leave the house.. EVER. He is 25, he goes to work (with my neighbor) doing construction and comes home and doesnt leave his room. My entire family doesn’t know what to do.. He refuses to seek treatment. Many psychiatrists have told me and my mother to kick him out.. his response is “I will literally sit on the front steps and die” And we’re nervous, hes in fact, right.. We’re very confused and don’t know what to do. It’s very hard not to enable him and get his cigs and all the things he wants, b/c well he’s my brother and he has a problem and when we say “Sorry we have to stop enabling you, stop getting everything for you” it causes world war 3 in our house. WE NEED HELP..
Well, he is completely convinced his problem is social anxiety.. where as us around him see it as the reprocussions of his addictions.. hard to tell honestly. I will never be “willing to let him die on the steps” as someone said, bottom line he is my brother, I know that the enabling doesn’t help but it is SO hard not to, just to cause less stress for him and for us. If he were kicked out.. he would literally sit there and we all know that, he doesnt own a car, i bought him one and he unregistered it. so he would have absolutely nowhere to go..
OH and the smoking, we’re not really bothered by that.. I’m an ex-smoker too, quit about a year ago. and noone in the house has any addictions..
