Thank you from a wife living with a man who has had a problem for 16 years. This has given me some understanding of what he is battling inside himself. Tomorrow he gets checked into a long term recovery program. I pray he can get rid of the monsters inside his head.

Thank you Sam, for your kind words. Anxiety, alcohol, drugs, it’s all a messy business. It can end in only institutions, prison, and death. Rock bottom is the key, but sometimes we hit it so hard we can’t get back up. We that have survived must, count ourselves as lucky, no blessed. We must now share our experience, strength, and hope with our brothers and sisters that still suffer. Helping others is the only we can complete the healing process.

Thankyou, like other people have suggested this video has little purpose, but to those of us who have been at complete rock bottom and when gripped by the evil hand of addiction, this video becomes extremely poignant.
Well done and thank you for making it.
Mine was alcohol but what ever your addiction let us stick together we can beat this and we will beat it.

Thank you! We all have gone through a lot and it’s our nature to feel like we are the only ones that have ever felt this way. Its hard for us to share but when we do we open the possibility of helping others. When we are on the back side of things it is our responsibility to try to help others.

This is really touching as it explains in detail the life and times of the addict and recovering addict, or should I say the triumphant victory that comes with recovery. We become heros not on purpose to those who still struggle. We can be a positive example for once in our lives that yes, all things are possible.

This is awesome if you have ever been there you will understand what this is about!!! If not you should watch this awesome video and see just what we as addicted go though in our life.We are no different for anyone else in the world but we have found there is LIFE after addiction!!! Just wish everyone will watch and know from one addict to another there is a different road we can take and we never have to use again … NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
