ways to stop alchohol addiction without the knowledge of the person consuming it?
Have a friend who is gradually getting addicted to alcohol in small proportions. Since he is not accepting the fact that he is getting addicted to it, he is uncooperative to approach any kind of help. I would like to help him from this addiction without his knowledge. Is that possible, how?Any medicines or any other means to help him, without his knowledge?

No medicines that you can give to him without his consent..
you can call one of the aa places or someplace like that, even a hopstial, and just tell them you think your friend might be getting addicted and you wanna stop it before it gets any worse..

Not really. The only way to fight an addiction is to admit you have one and struggle to overcome it. It has to be done by your friend unfortunately. You can be there for support and try to convince him that he has a problem, but unless he’s willing to work on it, there’s not much you can do. Any medications, etc., that you give him without his knowledge may have severe consequences. Even though you have the best of intentions, you may not be aware of allergies or other medication that might interact with the drugs or herbal supplements you want to give him to curb his addiction and it could have serious if not fatal results.

First of all Congratulation for taking interest in Helping your friend controlling addiction control. You are making your best part of being a good friend.
Way 1:
Making them stop controlling drinking is hard task and doesn’t have much number of ways. Only way is there can stop is when there are in urge to withdraw there drinking habit when there are in danger to lose there loved ones or any one close to them.
Way 2:
First you should mentally prepare them to alcohol addiction. This can be done by showing the effects of alcohol and the medical problem that will be caused to them in future. Doing this may make them realize the danger there are in.
Way 3:
Make them change there interest to other things like sports etc to divert them from alcoholism. This really have high effects of people. But you need to free them from bad company
