Most of the time it is a psychiatrist or other phtsicians with substance abuse training.
Most addicts usually are addicted to more than one substance and would need expert help to get them off all of them.

Treatment is broken down into two types, the use of medication and behavioral therapy. The medication is to wean the patient off drugs and keep the withdrawal symptoms at bay

There are so many places you can go and so many different treatments that you can get! Everyone will help however it is up to you on what you want to be helped with and how much interaction you want with a doctor.

Psychiatrists to put you on medication therapy. Psychologists to listen to you during individual or group therapies.

i guess rehab doctors and they make you stop it with an other drug
