Would you ever live in a recovery home that is being run by Christian church ( please read)?
Now lets say you have either a drug or alcohol problem or both and you wanna overcome the addiction. But here’s the thing, you’re a follower of a Non-Christian religion and the people at facility tries to get you to convert in order to help you overcome your addiction. Would you consider?

no i would not, addiction is not caused or cured by any one specific belief system, there are other ways to deal with an addiction, including counseling, aa or na, and learning from others who have recovered from the affliction, addiction is a disease, i also wouldn’t convert to christianity if i got lung cancer and the doctors wanted me to convert to treat me, i’d go to a different doctor

No, I wouldn’t be able to handle that.

I would never go to a christian recovery home voluntarily. I have seen a number of them: church groups coming in daily for hymn sings and bible studies, bible verses and prayers over the audio system constantly; people wanting to pray for/with/at me or convert me; smirky faces looking down at me from the faces of people who feel ever so superior. No thanks.
